Itinerary
Day 01: Cusco City Tour
Arrival and transfer to the Hotel Guided city tour and visit to the nearby ruins: Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay Return to the hotel
Day 02: Cusco - Machu Picchu - Aguas Calientes
Early in the morning, transfer to Cusco train station for a three hours train ride to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the most renowned examples of Inca architecture, known as "The Lost City of the Incas", get down the train in Aguas Calientes station for a 30-minutes drive climbing a 6km of winding road to reach the marvellous citadel. Upon arrival, guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial (the most important Intihuatana), the Royal Quarters, the Temple of Three Windows and various burial grounds. Time free to stroll by the archaeological site. Lunch at a local restaurant. Late afternoon transfer to your selected hotel in Machu Picchu or in Aguas Calientes, closest town, at only 15 minutes by bus from Machu Picchu.Day 03: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu
Breakfast in the hotel Free Day for enjoying a thermal bath in Aguas Calientes In the afternoon, return to Cusco city by tourist train Arrival and transfer to the hotel
Day 04: Cusco
Breakfast in the hotel At the time agreed, transfer to the airport.
